This will mark the 12th year Chapel by the Sea has worked with Rise Against Hunger to provide meals for people with food insecurity. The organization provides pre-packaged dehydrated meals and lifesaving aid to countries around the world. This year we need 60-80 volunteers from the Chapel along with members of the community to gather to man funnel stations, scales, sealing machines, and packing stations to ensure delivery of over 10,000 meals. Each complete meal packet contains enough vital nutrients and vitamins to sustain a family of six for one day.
Rise Against Hunger has provided over 45.5 million meals to starving people in numerous countries. Chapel by the Sea will need your help and support to cover the cost of raw materials and transportation to the designated country. The Goal for 2025 is to raise $6200 from sponsorship and individual contributions.
