The Way
Join us Thursday February 26 at 7pm Chapel Hall
for a viewing of the movie, The Way.
This holy season our Lenten Series is based upon this story.
The Way is a movie of man’s intentional journey, symbolic of life’s pathways.
The movie depicts a grieving father’s pilgrimage in honor of his late son. He walks along the Camino de Santiago, located in France and Spain.
Jesus went on such a pilgrimage, after his baptism by John in the River Jordan.
During the father’s pilgrimage, he was tempted to stray from the path - the movie and the Lenten series depict that we are often tempted to stray from God’s calling for us - yet it is in wandering that we often find ourselves.
Come Enjoy this movie so that this Lenten season has extra meaning for you as we worship each Sunday. Experience the symbolism and the message with a deeper understanding.
Popcorn and Soda/Pop/Coke will be served.
