OUR CLASSES:
The Gloryettes!
Our little hearts are in full bloom for spring. The little ones are enjoying learning about Jesus and
trying to sing Bible songs. With spring upon us we will get to play outside more and be able to share
what Jesus is making all new. We can't wait for the Easter bunny. Please join us on Sunday
mornings at 10:15.
Love and Blessings from Miss Victoria and the Gloryettes
Bible Rangers
The 2nd-5th graders of the Bible Rangers class are very happy that "spring has sprung"! There's so
much to look forward to at church. We enjoy passing out palms to the congregation on Palm
Sunday and celebrating Easter with our families during the worship service. Of course we all look
forward to some good old Easter fun by following the Easter Bunny out of the worship service to the
Easter egg hunt. Once again we will spend a Sunday morning on the water, exploring the bay and all
God's creation and enjoying our Sunday School friends. Finally, Youth Sunday is a fun way to
celebrate our year together as the Sunday School is in charge of the service that morning and then
we're off to the pool for a party.
On a "reflective" note... it was really nice to watch the kids interact with the adults from Belle Vista
Assisted Living Facility at our Valentine's Party. It was especially enjoyable to watch the children
seek out some of the residents we've known for quite awhile and inquire after those that weren't
there. It has become a special place to our kids.
Happy Spring from the Bible Rangers!

Sonshine Squad
Spring is in the air -- and the children of the Son-Shine Squad are coming together as a
group. They are learning to work together and to work independently. They are
learning to pray together and to be the best person we can at home, at school and at
church. The youngsters are learning to share their tools and their ideas and to help each other. As
they learn, we teachers are learning from them each and every week.
Thank you so much for sharing your children with us. It is a joy always.
Happy Spring,
Mecia Bingham and Barbara Blakely
Peace Keepers
Children are like a spring-time garden. Just like the fertilizer and water we use to care for our
gardens in the spring, so must we also do the same with the children to help them blossom. God's
word provides us with that added nutrition.
We know with a garden we cannot keep all the bugs out - just as we cannot shield the children from
all bad influences. But in the end all our work is rewarded when the garden yields all its fresh
produce.
We appreciate the opportunity to help your children grow and are enjoying watching them blossom.
Sincerely,
Scott, Joy & Denise
The TWISTED Teens 4 Christ
Spring is just around the corner for all of us. The TWISTED Teens are gearing up for some major
fundraising! We are making our way to Charlotte, North Carolina this year for the
ICCC Conference! We will be parking our Spring Break – March 24 through
April 1 – this will kick-off our Fundraising efforts! So make plans now to be at the
Chapel during that time frame at 10:30 a.m. until the lot is full!
Our Sunday School study class is currently in the book “Chicken Soup for the Soul
– Teens Talk High School”! This is our time to come together and be ourselves –
without the pressure of the world around us! There are many things changing in our lives – Every
Day! The drama can get really heavy sometimes – and there are moments when we can feel really
alone. That is why every Sunday at 10:30 a.m. we come together as a class to “touch base” –
“breathe” – and find out more about the path God has created for us to follow. Any and all are
welcome to join our class at any time! We would love to see you there!

Youth Sunday School—The2011/2012 Sunday School program for all of
our Chapel students has resumed. This year’s school theme is Live B.I.G. –
Believe In God. Believe in God, believe also in me. John 14:1. Our
Sunday School classes are learning about strengthening their belief in God.
Through our classes, we hope to teach your children to hear, see and live
their belief in God every day. All grades will attend the opening church
service until after the “Gloria Patri”. The students will then leave for Sunday
School class activities until 11:45 a.m. Parents can meet their children in the
Sunday School Garden, right outside Chapel Hall. (weather permitting)
Children of visitors are always welcome to participate in Sunday School
class programs.
